Yes. GTChat has a free plan with 50 AI chats/month and 1 agent seat. Paid plans start at $19/month (Starter), $49/month (Growth — best value), $99/month (Pro), and Enterprise (custom). Every new install includes a 14-day free trial with full Growth-plan access — no credit card required.
What AI model powers GTChat?
GTChat uses Claude AI by Anthropic — one of the most capable and safest AI models available. It's the same AI that powers Claude.ai.
Does GTChat require coding?
No coding required. GTChat installs in one click from the Shopify App Store. The chat widget appears automatically on your storefront through the Shopify theme editor.

Can GTChat handle Instagram and Facebook DMs?
Yes. Connect your Facebook Page and Instagram account in the Social Inbox section of the dashboard. GTChat will automatically receive and reply to DMs using AI, and you can jump in to respond manually at any time.
Can I reply to YouTube comments?
Yes. Connect your YouTube channel in the dashboard and enable AI auto-replies. GTChat checks for new comments every 15 minutes and posts AI-generated replies. You can review and edit any reply before or after posting.
How does the AI learn about my products?
You can add product details, FAQs, and policies to the Knowledge Base in Settings. Tag any Shopify product with AI_Sell and the AI will proactively recommend it to customers. The AI also learns from your agents — every human reply can be approved to train the bot.
Can customers talk to a real person?
Yes. The widget has a "Talk to a human" button. When clicked, the AI stops responding and your team gets an alert. You reply from the GTChat dashboard and your messages appear in the customer's chat window in real time.
Does GTChat send email notifications?
Yes. GTChat emails customers when your team replies and they're offline. It also sends browser push notifications to your agents when a new customer message arrives — even if the dashboard tab is closed.

What's included in the free plan?
The free plan includes 100 AI chats per month, the live agent dashboard, 50 knowledge base entries, and chat widget customization.
What's included in Pro?
The Pro plan ($99/month) includes 10,000 chats/month, unlimited agent seats, all social integrations (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube), custom AI persona, and dedicated support. The Growth plan ($49/month) is our most popular — 2,000 chats, 10 agents, all integrations, and analytics.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel at any time by uninstalling GTChat from your Shopify admin. Your billing stops immediately and no further charges are made.

GTChat is built and operated by GamerTech Toronto, a custom PC company based in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. The app was built in-house to solve our own customer support challenges and is now available to all Shopify merchants.
